Easy-to-Make, Authentic Matcha Sweets
Since 1836, Morihan has been making tea in Ogura, Uji, a tea-producing area famous for its gyokuro and matcha varieties. As two-time winners of the National Tea Judging Contest, we have been dedicated to producing high quality teas as selected by famous tea masters, as well as to developing new tea-related technologies. To that end, we continue to pursue our mottos of “a reliable quality of tea” as well as “contributing to a comfortable life through tea.”
In order to develop products that are both highly safe and high in quality, Morihan has been working to acquire international food safety certificates. We routinely conduct bacteriological tests, as well as physical and chemical tests, using a full range of equipment and technologies, to ensure that our products are both trusted and safe—both from a scientific perspective as well as from a commonsense perspective. In doing so, we strive every day to both improve and enhance our product quality.
Now, we’d like to introduce our Uji Matcha Pudding and Jelly Mix. Uji, Kyoto has had a long history in producing fragrant and high-quality teas. Our Uji Matcha and Pudding Jelly Mix uses fragrant, high-quality Uji tea, selected by some of Japan’s leading tea masters, masters who have inherited the traditional techniques of the tea industry. When mixed with milk, this mix produces a silky matcha pudding, and when mixed with hot water, it makes a firm matcha jelly. Please enjoy it as you like!
